Managing Attorney Laleh Ensafi

Hi, I’m Laleh Ensafi. I became an attorney because it is my responsibility to fight for what the public needs, deserves, and wants.

I have practiced bankruptcy law for about ten years. I have handled over 750 cases in the Central District of CA alone. My other areas of law include bankruptcy, real estate law, personal injury, and applicant worker’s compensation.

In my time practicing law, I’ve learned that hard work, perseverance, and diligence pays off. I’ve helped save hundreds of people from losing their home to lenders and private individuals. There has not been one person that I’ve helped that has lost their home in a foreclosure. I make sure families and individuals have a roof over their head and I take pride in helping the community whenever I can. I help my clients understand the law and more importantly, understand their rights.

  • I do not use anyone other than myself draft and finalize all bankruptcy documents. Hence, an attorney is working on your case from beginning to end. No paralegals or assistants.
  • I know each of my clients on a personal basis.
  • This is my main area of law and focus.
  • I have worked on the creditor side of bankruptcy as well, so I know the angle the creditors will have and I can predict any objections or difficulties
  • I am familiar with all the Judges in Central district and I have appeared before them and the trustees

How I Can Help?

As a bankruptcy attorney, it is my personal joy to help people gain a new financial future. Many people file bankruptcy in California because they have trouble paying for necessities, have payments for medical emergencies or are laid off from work.

When evaluating whether filing bankruptcy is right for you, I always consider the following 5 questions.

  1. Helping you identify your bankruptcy goals. Although bankruptcy can help erase many debts, some debts, such as unpaid taxes or child support are not dischargeable.
  2. Evaluating whether bankruptcy is necessary? Are there alternatives options?
  3. Determining how to keep as much of your property and money as possible while discharging the maximum amount of debt.
  4. Deciding whether Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 is the best option for your circumstances. The most common factors affecting a bankruptcy are: home ownership, amount and being married/single/divorced
  5. Help you evaluate the effect of filing bankruptcy on future credit and job opportunities

My interest in bankruptcy law started in law school.  I have reviewed many bankruptcy petitions and developed significant experience in identifying the best legal methods to gain the best possible results for my clients.

Most importantly, I understand the importance of bankruptcy to each of my clients. Helping YOU get a second chance at financial freedom and the American dream is my goal.   People with successful bankruptcy cases are better able to save their homes, jobs, and cars to continue supporting themselves and their families.
